I WENT on the Warrington Housing Association list in July 2016 for a one-bedroom flat and now, almost three years later, I am still waiting for one.
I was told I would be waiting between 18 months to two years.
I changed my form to have my ex-partner taken off when we split up last year, which they are aware of.
I was sleeping on her couch but have now been forced to take temporary accommodation in St Helens.
I have no family or local connection in this town whatsoever and am finding it very hard to cope as I have a long term illness, suffering from depression and anxiety.
They told me they haven’t got any flats empty at all but I don’t believe that for one minute and feel I am being treated unfairly.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
