Traffic on the M62 westbound between junction 12 and 11 earlier today, Saturday
MOTORISTS faced traffic delays on the M62 earlier today, Saturday, after a car broke down.
The incident happened on the motorway westbound between junction 12 at the M60 interchange and junction 11 at Birchwood.
The left lane was shut following the incident, which caused 1.7 miles of traffic congestion, but has now been reopened after the car was recovered.
