WARRINGTON'S Polish School based in Birchwood celebrated its 10th anniversary with an award to mark the landmark.
The teachers of the Polish Saturday School have each received an award from Warrington Borough Council in recognition of their dedication in relation to the voluntary work they carry out.
Halina Kelly, director of the school, says she would like to thank Polish Food Plus, which has sponsored the school and supplied refreshments throughout the year.
She said: "This is a great achievement for the Polish School and everyone involved is very proud and happy that we have been able to support the Polish children in our community.
"I would like thank everyone who continues to support the school.
"Enabling children to continue their Polish education in our community in Warrington is a wonderful thing."
The service took place last month.
