Christmas officially launched in Warrington with the Frozen themed light switch-on earlier this month but there are plenty more festive activities to look forward to.

CHRISTMAS TEEPEE Old Fish Market, Golden Square, November 17 to January 5
The teepee is the hub of the Golden Square's seasons greetings where you can enjoy the likes of mulled wine and other yuletide favourites as well as live music every Friday evening.

CHRISTMAS AFTERNOON TEA AND FAIR Tim Parry Community Centre, Wroxham Road, November 24
The 10th Warrington Scouts Group are hosting a Christmas afternoon tea and fair to raise funds for the scout hut which is falling into disrepair.
A craft fair will run from 12pm until 4pm and includes a refreshment stall and handmade gifts. There will also be the opportunity to meet Santa for £3.
The afternoon tea sittings are from 12pm until 1pm or 2pm until 3pm.

THE CHAPELFORD CHRISTMAS MARKET Sainsburys, Chapelford, November 25, 11am
A band will be performing at 12.30pm and 4pm before the Christmas tree light switch-on at 4.30pm.

CHRISTMAS FAIR St Wilfrid’s Parish Church, Grappenhall, December 1, from 2pm
A host of craft stalls with free activities for the kids plus the popular grand teddy tombola.
Guests will also get to meet Father Christmas, sip mulled wine and enjoy a selection of festive food and treats, while being serenaded by Scottish bagpipes.
At 5pm there will carol singing around the St Wilfrid’s Christmas tree with the children’s choir. Entry is £2 (children go free)

SANTA DASH Birchwood, December 16
The 5k route, to raise money for Brainwave, is across all terrain and is suitable for runners and walkers.
The run starts at 9am with registration from 8.15am inside the Peacock Pub.
Entry is £10 for adults and £5 for children and includes the cost of the suit for adults and a hat for children.
