Stefan Ratchford crossed from a Dec Patton grubber but Wigan regained the lead with a George Williams penalty while still down to 12 men and then ran riot in the final 10 minutes to win 26-6.
39mins: A kick ahead forced Ratchford to turn and chase but Leuluai just had the edge with the dive to ground the ball. Tomkins converted, 6-0.
55mins: With Tomkins in the sin bin, Ratchford was too quick for the Wigan defence from Patton's grubber kick, sneaking in behind the last defender. Patton’s extras levelled matters at 6-6
59mins: Successive Wigan penalties handed Williams a shot at goal from close to the sticks. 8-6 to Wigan
72mins: A Gildart break was eventually stopped by Ratchford but Wire were at sixes and sevens as Manfredi found a route to the line from first receiver. Tomkins converted, 14-6
77mins: Manfredi lost the ball backwards but he scooped it back up and got to the line where he stretched out of a tackle by Ratchford and Philbin to touch down. Tomkins converted, 20-6
78mins: Gildart went across the line and found Sutton to charge over from 10 metres out. Tomkins goaled, 26-6.
