HARVEY Livett is in line for a recall to the Wire side for the Super 8s clash with Huddersfield Giants tomorrow.

With both Ben Murdoch-Masila and Ben Westwood left out of the 19-man squad by head coach Steve Price, the door is open for Livett to return having been dropped for last week’s 80-10 demolition of Hull FC.

It would mean a back-row reshuffle for The Wire, with Bodene Thompson moving to loose forward, Jack Hughes reverting back to his familiar right second row position and Livett slotting back in on the left edge.

However, Murdoch-Masila was also not named in the 19-man squad for the Hull FC game but was drafted back in to start the game, so the same could happen again and the team could be unchanged.

Another possibility is Ben Pomeroy stepping up to start in the Tongan’s place and Livett filling his role on the bench.

Thompson still needs to be assessed after picking up an ankle injury last week, as does Wire skipper Chris Hill.

A final decision on both will be made at captain’s run today, but Price is confident both will feature.

“Bodene and Hilly have had light duties this week. They didn’t train on Tuesday,” he said.

“We’ll have more of an inclination after the captain’s run on Thursday, but I’m confident they should be okay.”

Sitaleki Akauola remains sidelined with a sternum injury which also looks set to rule him out of next week’s trip to Wigan Warriors, while Mitch Brown’s season is over after having major surgery on his right knee.
