RESIDENTS are being invited to help give Knutsford a spring clean to keep it looking its best.

Knutsford community groups will be giving parts of the town a spring clean during the weekend of March 3.

The events are part of the Great British Spring Clean campaign organised by Keep Britain Tidy.

It aims to bring together people from across the country to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and coastline.

The three groups Friends of the Moor, Friends of The Heath and Knutsford Residents in Over Ward will organise parties in their respective areas.

Friends of The Moor will be at The Moor at 3pm on Saturday, March 3, and Friends of The Heath will be at The Heath at 11am on Sunday, March 4.

Knutsford Residents in Over Ward will be at North Downs/Longridge playing field at 3pm on Sunday, March 4.

Kevin Griffiths of Friends of The Heath said: “We encourage local residents to join at least one of these litter-picks. The more people the better as many hands make light work.”
