I WAS delighted to read that the plans for another mega warehouse in Warrington had been turned down.
There was no need for that scale of development in the green belt.
How many warehouses can Warrington cope with?
We need more skilled jobs, not another Amazon.
And at the cost of what? More of our countryside? Enough of that is disappearing.
We are already developing Fiddler’s Ferry, so why do we need to tear up more countryside?
It is simply not necessary.
It is good to see the Government listening to local people.
