YOU have to wonder about the planning of work in Warrington
The whole of south Warrington was brought to a standstill on Thursday due to temporary lights on London Road.
The work was then done by the end of Monday and the road reopened.
Why do this on a Thursday when you know that work will stop over the weekend, yet you will still be stuck in the resulting traffic.
It was an absolute nightmare in Stockton Heath with queues back to the swing bridge in one direction and the golf club in the other.
Why is common sense never applied in these cases?
