I SEE Warrington Borough Council has now stated that the construction of a new bypass from Walton to Great Sankey has increased in cost by £56million, resulting in a shortfall of funding.
Well WBC, if you did not gamble residents’ money, you would not find yourself in this position.
Get a grip of the public money you receive and start spending it wisely for the benefit of the residents and the town.

AT the junction of Booths Hill Road and Barsbank Lane there are three signs saying diversion TPT (Trans Pennine Trail), and each one is pointing in a different direction.

I DROVE down Chester Road on Monday after Creamfields and what a mess.
There were loads of shoes, wellies and boots, as well as mud all over the road.
Well done to the people collecting rubbish.
