ONCE again, I raise the spectre of parking on Hood Lane North and Crosfield rugby.

It has got to the point where every Sunday, the whole of the lane, side roads and even Cannons Road has cars parked.

It came to a head on Tuesday evening when I was diagnosed by 111 as a possible mini stroke (TIA).

An urgent ambulance was called, and on arrival it spent five minutes negotiating back and forward with parents leaving, and as it tried to turn, drivers leaving reacted angrily.

As it turns out it was not a TIA, and after five hours I was released from hospital.

This situation cannot continue as eventually it will cause a delay in treatment, or dare I say it a death.

There is enough room on the rec to extend car parking, and this should be done as soon as possible.
