I WOULD like to raise an issue with crossing a roundabout near the Cockhedge Centre.

As a pedestrian with a physical and mental disability, I find it extremely dangerous and stressful.

It is also unbelievable that a roundabout in the town centre near a major shopping mall is designed without pedestrians in mind.

Some people just run through, but for those of us with canes, walking sticks, prams, wheelchairs or scooters, it is a very dangerous manoeuvre to cross the roundabout.

I am wondering, is the council planning to address this in any way? It is impossible to live by shopping places and not be able to actually use them.
