LETTER: It is insulating to say all people in Orford live in terraces
In response to the letter ‘Nothing New’ from Pete Owens, Stockton Heath (Warrington Guardian, June 23).
He does not know the full details of the plan which was to be impacted on the residents of Orford round the Jubilee Hub.
Firstly there was no carefully prolonged consultation with residents as he states, secondly, they wanted to implement a one-way in and one-way out system of the area concerned, pushing traffic onto Winwick Road, which is busy at the best of times.
Also to state that many people in Orford live in terrace houses is incorrect and insulting.
