RE last week’s edition, I remember the old Brittania, not that I ever drank in there, and also the New Town House building, not only being built but also from working in New Town House.
In fact from the age of 16 I worked as an apprentice at the Co-op Printing Works in Barbauld Street.
I also at times worked with Eddie Fuller and Paul Walmsley, Guardian photographers, on projects I was involved in over the years.
