IS it me or is the new Centre Park link road a complete waste of time and money.
Almost £20 million and what has it achieved?
Simply moved the problems of Bridge Foot elsewhere in town.
So the roads around The Stage and Gainsborough Road are now almost impossible to carry out right turns at some times of the day.
While the queues near Bank Quay station are awful at rush hour with traffic turning right on the new road.
When you get on the new road, there are temporary lights to work on a road which has been open little more than a year.
Madness!
But at least Bridge Foot is clear.
I go that way a lot of the time now but what a shame.
I can’t wait to see how the Western Link works out.
Or will that be more wasted money from the council and government.
