LETTER: Why are councillors not interested in protecting character of our villages?
FROM the report in the Warrington Guardian, it sounds as if Warrington councillors are not interested in green belt policy.
Green belt prevents towns and villages from merging into one another.
Green belt prevents new built up areas spreading out into the countryside.
Green belt protects the special historic character of villages like Lymm.
