I REFER to the article in the Warrington Guardian from Cheshire Police’s Chief Constable Mark Roberts sending Christmas cards out to serial offenders in the county (Warrington Guardian, December 16).
What a waste of the taxpayers’ council tax contribution to the police.
What we need are more police patrolling the streets not fancy gimmicks, Mr Roberts.
I’ve not seen a PCSO police officer or police car on my estate for months.
Good job we have eight retired police officers living on the estate because we can’t rely on the Cheshire Constabulary.
