LETTER: 'Council leader should resign immediately over serious failings'
I REFER to the latest revelation regarding the conduct of Warrington Borough Council.
The failure to have the final accounts of the council to be signed off for the past four financial years.
Now the council leader Russ Bowden has put the blame on Grant Thornton for over promising and under delivering.
Cllr Bowden you are using Grant Thornton as a scapegoat for your serious failings.
You Cllr Mitchell and Mr Broomhead were all complicit in this accounts saga.
Do the best thing for us all Cllr Bowden, resign immediately.
