THIS has happened on more than one occasion.

I am sick of people thinking they can just park in parent and child spaces.

I have been in several situations where I physically couldn’t get the baby out of the car parking in a normal space at the supermarkets in Warrington because people who don’t even have any children with them park in the parent and child spaces.

I went to Tesco today and luckily I got a space but as we parked up and my partner went to get a car seat trolley for the baby an old couple parked up next to us with no child in the car and we were in a parent and child space nowhere near the Tesco entrance.

They got out of the car and walked straight to the entrance.

As they got out another car was looking for a parent and child space and they had literally taken the last one.

If they had a disability parking permit I would not have had any problem with them parking there as they would have needed extra space for getting a wheelchair maybe or if they had issues with walking long distances but we couldn’t have been further from the entrance and no disability badge was displayed.

This poor family had to get their small baby out of the car in the seat in a normal space which is very hard.

I cannot physically get my car seat out of the car in a normal space in a busy car park, it’s near impossible.

I don’t understand why the older generation think they can just take presidency and have the privilege of parking somewhere where they are not allowed to park.

It’s absolutely absurd and because of people like them there are many times where people like me cannot get the baby out of the car or have to park right at the top end of the car park furthest away from the trolleys and carry the car seat all the way to the entrance of a supermarket, which believe me takes some strength.

I think it’s absolutely unfair and I think they need to take a think before they park their for their own convenience over a family.

Oh pretty much every disabled spot was also clear so if they did hold a badge they had about 50 spaces to choose one. It’s not fair and people need to think of others before parking in parent and child without a child in the car.
