LETTER: Council needs to take action to remove dangerous giant hogweed from park
FURTHER to your article entitled ‘Hogweed Warnings’ (Warrington Guardian, April 29).
Over the past few years we have been endlessly trying to warn Warrington Borough Council of the giant hogweed plantation on land which adjoins ours in Woolston, as this is spreading like wildfire in the Woolston area, and appears to be where it is all originally spreading from.
It is listed under the dangerous plants act and is extremely hazardous.
