I HAVE been enjoying travelling on the new road from Chester Road to Bank Quay.

During the weekend and the evening, it saves a good five or 10 minutes and saves stopping at every light.

But I had to travel that way at rush hour.

The queue to turn right at the police station!

Imagine what it would be like when people are all back at their work place.

I can’t see with the small number of vehicles who can turn right at each light change that it would be possible to avoid jams.

I really hope I am proved wrong.

Because at the moment, it looks like an even bigger problem could have been created than the one which existed.
