MY daughter works in a well-known supermarket in Warrington.

Throughout the pandemic, they have been so busy, keeping on working while many of us have been staying at home.

And she says the majority have been fantastic.

Kind and courteous, and sticking to the rules.

But a substantial minority have been less pleasant shall we say.

Refusing to wear masks, abusing anyone who asks them to.

Shouting at staff to be faster.

Ignoring queues.

It is unacceptable in any job but especially for our key workers at such a big time.

I hope if we are coming out of this pandemic, that this starts to change rather.

Because it has been a harrowing experience at times.

All people should try to be a lot kinder.
