I REMEMBER a year ago when lockdown was called.
It was an uncertain time, filled with fear of what was to come.
There was dread about not seeing family and how we would work and look after children.
But there was also kindness and optimism.
People got to know their neighbours, rainbow paintings filled the windows of houses.
What now?
Well none of that.
Instead we have moans and complaints in the Warrington Guardian.
We have lockdown fines.
We have police arresting woman for protesting about safety.
We have rows about the vaccine.
As we seem to be making a return to normality, I hope some of the things we learned from the first lockdown will stay with us.
