I BOOKED flights on January 25 with lastminute.com, due fly on March 18 from Manchester to Brisbane.
I was taking my grandson Nathan to celebrate his 18 birthday.
The travel agent cancelled our flights on March 13 because of the Covid-19 virus.
It has been a nightmare trying to get my refund back.
I sent a mail that was ignored, I phoned the travel agency who were not cooperating.
I have sent loads of emails to anyone connected with lastminute. com and had still no word from anyone.
I was advised to do a charge back with my bank Natwest, which I did in April.
No information yet.
I’m now four months down the line and wonder who else I could get in touch with for help.
It is so annoying as it is almost £3,000, too much money to lose for us pensioners.
