I REFER to my previous letter regarding the lack of planning by Warrington Borough Council in respect of traffic management with the construction of 189 apartments on Station Road Latchford and its effects on nearby roads (Warrington Guardian, July 9).
I have since read that planning permission has been granted to build 140 homes on land off Loushers Lane behind the Colas asphalt plant.
I feel sorry for the people who choose to buy a house there with the acrid smell of asphalt in the air.
Once again further congestion on Loushers Lane, Wash Lane, Cantilever Bridge and Station Road by poor planning.
I think the town needs to be renamed Jammington.
