LETTER: What are the council doing to improve roads ahead of 182 new flats?
I REFER to your article regarding the progress of the building of 182 apartments on the site of the former timber yard on Station Road in Latchford.
There seems to be little or no foresight by Warrington Borough Council regarding the traffic management of another potentially 182 vehicles on the roads.
This is in comparison to the road improvements they made on Mersey Street with a filter lane constructed to manage traffic turning right towards the new Time Square complex.
I don’t see any road improvements on Station Road, Grammar School Road, Cantilever Bridge or Wash Lane to manage the influx of extra traffic.
