I WANT to talk about Greg Inglis (Warrington Guardian, May 28).
I agree that he is a fabulous player and I cannot wait to see him in primrose and blue next year.
But what irritates me intensely is this current desire to label everything as the ‘best ever’.
Maybe Inglis is the best signing ever.
We don’t know yet because he hasn’t played for ages.
But even if he had, it ignores the history of our great club.
Brian Bevan was a pretty good signing, John Bevan from rugby union, Les Boyd, Jonathan Davies who became Man of Steel.
All good players who will go down in history.
Not everything has to be the best, enjoy what you have.
