AS all of the council tips are closed due to the ongoing situation, the council said that the people who work on these sites would be put to good use in other jobs, that is fair enough.
If that is the case why is the council going round the parks repainting the white lines for the rugby and football pitches which cannot and will not be used for many weeks?
Is that not just a total waste of time and resources which could be better used to clean up some of the fly tipping or even get the street bins emptied more frequently?
This council does not fail to live up to its reputation.
