THERE is not much to enjoy at the moment.
The outbreak and lockdown has changed all our lives for the worst and I can’t wait to be on the other side of this.
But one wonderful thing on my daily exercise is enjoying the sound of silence.
Even when you are away from the roads, it is wonderful to listen to the peace and quiet without the thundering roar of vehicles.
You can actually hear the birds singing and the wind blowing.
It is rather refreshing.
I have no doubt when everything is open we will all be back in our cars and back to our fast paced way of life.
But I will look back to the current peace and tranquillity with fondness.
It is one thing to look forward to in these dark days.
