WARRINGTON’S chief executive officer is also holding a number of other roles including being on the board of Together Energy, the new acquisition by the council, and Wire Regeneration among others.

The average wage in Warrington is on or around the national average of £25,000 a year.

Many people under 30 are well below that level yet all them are expected to pay council tax.

I am suggesting that we have a cap of £100,000 for the chief executive officer and or other senior posts at £75,000.

This means the chief executive is earning four times the average salary and everyone else in the senior post to get three times.

Do you think this is fair and proportionate?
