I REFER to the Labour party’s election manifesto in which they intend to bankrupt the country to pay for everything.

They intend to renationalise the utility companies – water, electric gas, the railways.

And that’s just the start.

Increase the minimum wage to £10 per hour. Uncap the benefits system so people system can earn more for sitting at home than those going out to work.

The problem is the people and youth of today want everything for nothing, they are not prepared to work and save for what they want.

They want everything on the plate. Is this a responsible attitude to have?

I was brought up in the 1980s where people still had morals, pride and respect.

I saved for a deposit for a modest two-bedroom house and gradually improved my standard of living and home – I have never relied on benefits to pay my way.

This attitude of money for nothing stinks and should never be allowed to continue.
