LAST week, I was at Halton Hospital from 7am.

I didn’t have time to draw cash – thinking the hospital would have an ATM.

But the last laugh was on me.

Apparently a cash machine is not deemed necessary by the management, according to the person I asked, and the nearest one is about one mile or more away.

The little cafe only takes cash so I could not buy a drink or snack.

It left me on the search for somewhere to obtain water other than the toilets.

It is 2019 for goodness sake.

Please put an ATM in the hospital It is ridiculous having to wait around without having the money for food or a drink.
