THERE is a 20mph speed limit across the whole of Chapelford but drivers regularly ignore this and I have personally witnessed speeds up to 50mph.
If caught, this would become an automatic ban.
Speeding measures make no difference and I recently complained to the police.
I was advised that the borough council would be responsible for installing speed cameras in the area.
I understand this is not a police priority but I find it annoying when drivers tailgate you when driving at the speed limit.
It seems there is no respect for the law in 2019.
