I REFER to your letter from Celia Jordan regarding the lack of Heritage in the town.
Correct me if I am wrong Celia but were you not a WBC councillor for 28 years being paid by the public?
What did you do to promote heritage in the town during your years of council control?
All you and your council friends did was approve late night refreshment licences for takeaways and licensed premises.
The town is a dump not attractive enough to encourage visitors from outside.
Why should they want to visit Warrington when you have the likes of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester with their heritage and cultural attractions in mass?
Celia you only have yourself to blame for the situation you are criticising.
You had the opportunity to put things right and failed.
