I RECEIVED my letter from Cllr Russ Bowden about the local plan this week with the invite to come to the consultation meetings.
It seems that he and the rest of this Labour council is determined and may I suggest ‘obsessed’ with the plan and making it happen.
In the letter, which says dear but then just has a huge space, it says the council wants to hear from people.
But what is the point?
Are we seriously to expect anything to change.
I very much doubt it.
Even the excellent efforts of Labour MP Helen Jones seems to have been ignored with regards to Peel Hall.
She seems to be the only politician with the appetite with the fight against these developers.
There is so little green belt left and it needs to be saved.
I do wonder what our council is up to and why.
