IT has been interesting to note some canny voting by Warrington North MP Helen Jones in recent days.

All of a sudden in the numerous Brexit votes in Parliament she seems to be anti a second referendum but still in favour of a customs union or some other form of Brexit.

So which is it Mrs Jones?

Are you in favour of Brexit or against?

It seems to me she is simply trying to keep both sides of the argument happy.

She wants to make sure that all those who voted leave will vote for her again at a General Election.

While she is also trying to keep the remain voters on her side.

I think she risks everyone voting against her.

Surely a time like this should compel politicians to vote with conviction and to vote for what they believe rather than simply playing a political game.

Although from Helen Jones, could we really expect anything different?
