I REFER to your article regarding the concerns of WBC Cllr Stefan Krizanac over the status of EU nationals living in Warrington after the UK exit from the EU if they fail to record their applications for UK residency by March 29 (Warrington Guardian, February 14).
In the same article Cllr Amanda King (LAB) asks what percentage of EU citizens do we have potentially settled in Warrington.
Can you give us an indication of whether it is a big problem for Warrington or not?
Quite clearly Ms King you don’t visit the town centre because had you done so you would have discovered that most of the people in the town centre are speaking eastern European languages and English language is in the minority.
Labour are out of touch and absolutely clueless on local things.
