REGARDING the Warrington 4 Brexit rally on previous Saturdays in town.
This shows that the silent majority has spoken for all those people in this town who voted Leave.
It is really disappointing that the majority of elected borough councillors seem to have forgotten that result and as for our democratically elected MPs – well enough said.
Our democratic right is at risk and any future voting will be treated with such contempt for the establishment.
Simple – no extension to article 50, no people’s vote, no second referendum.
We had a vote, with a simple question.
A majority is a majority even if it is just by one vote.
That is what democracy is.
I can’t make it any plainer.
General Election and local elections yes; an opportunity for the silent majority to give the establishment the real answer.
