I JUST wanted to provide an update on our recent issues with Warrington Borough Council and Virgin media (Warrington Guardian, November 29).

These issues were resolved by Virgin in early December but the council has been investigating happenings and looking at a claim for compensation for the issues they caused since.

The council has now refused to accept any liability or compensation as it instructed a contractor and considered it nothing to do with them.

It seems to me they just want to brush the incident under the carpet.
