I WAS disappointed with the Warrington Guardian’s coverage of the excellent achievement of The MacIntyre Care Company.

It had been inspected by the CQC and achieved ‘Outstanding’ in all five areas of care, very rarely achieved.

Your coverage was meagre, in relation for example to the coverage given on the same page to an individual suspended from his profession for six weeks (three times more space given).

MacIntyre employs many people in Warrington and surrounding towns and this achievement is testament to the hard work of these people, who care for some of our most vulnerable young people and adults with learning and physical disabilities.

We should celebrate good news with the coverage it deserves.

Well done MacIntyre.
