MILLIONS of people around the world will be showing they care.

Will you be one of them?

Join in the world’s biggest human rights event.

More than two million people around the world will be sending messages of support and solidarity to people imprisoned or whose lives are in danger for defending human rights.

Members of the public are invited to join Warrington Amnesty Group for their annual write for rights on Saturday, December 8 between 10am and 1pm at Newchurch Parish Hall Culcheth.

This year we are featuring ‘Women Human Rights Defenders’.

One is Iranian Atena Daemi given a seven-year prison sentence for criticising capital punishment in Iran.

While in prison she has had to endure being pepper sprayed, beaten and kept in solitary confinement.

Come and make a difference!
