I WAS really angry as I took my young grandchildren to watch the fireworks over Warrington on November 5 at Hill Cliff.
I was so angry that a family brought their fireworks and set them off next to a grave.
I thought this was very disrespectful and we left within five minutes of arriving as the fireworks were loud and frightened my three and four-year-old grandchildren. They were scared and wanted to go home.
I hope whoever did this apologises to my grandchildren as they were really scared of fireworks coming their way due to the wind.
My aunts and their husbands are buried there.
I hope Warrington Borough Council will next year stop fireworks being set off.
