HAS anyone tried to walk on a grass verge in Warrington lately?
Or even just navigate along the pavements.
It is almost impossible.
The grass is so long in many areas near my house that when it has rained, my trousers get soaked to my ankles and I am in two inches of mud.
And don’t talk about bushes.
So many are overgrown that it makes walking on the pavements almost impossible.
It is becoming very hard to walk anywhere at the moment.
Either the council got conned by the hot weather and thought all the plants had died away or they simply don’t bother with grass cutting anymore.
But the fact remains, why am I paying my taxes to get no service?
It is the same wherever you look in Warrington and it seems to be getting worse.
Is the council not proud of this town?
You wouldn’t think so if you take a look around.
