I HOPE Warrington Wolves fans turn out in force for the semi-final with St Helens (taking place tonight, Thursday).
We seem to sell thousands of tickets for the Challenge Cup semis but struggle in the play-offs.
Why? Well it seems simple to me, the fact the game is on a Thursday night.
What sport has one of its biggest games of the year on a Thursday night?
People work and children have to be at school the following morning.
They can’t be expected to be at St Helens on a week night.
I will be there but I fear there will be a fraction of the 7,000 who were at Bolton to watch the Challenge Cup win over Leeds Rhnos.
The sooner change happens at the top of Super League, the better it will be for our great game.
