HAVING acquired a puppy we now find ourselves out and about in the area more than usual.

I have lived in Great Sankey for more than 40 years, around the Sycamore Lane Primary School area.

It is all well and good building all these houses and apartments but what it brings with it is lots more youths.

These youths we have witnessed first hand. They do not give a second thought about all the rubbish they leave and think they can just dump it on the field at the side of Chapelford Primary School.

The amount of litter, bottles and substances that are just left when these youths have been there is absolutely disgraceful.

It’s great that they have somewhere to congregate but please will someone tell these youths that they should be proud to live in this area and to keep it looking tidy and clean.

There are bins allocated around the field.

Perhaps the heads of Great Sankey and Penketh High schools should also mention this problem when they have the pupils back in school this week.

I am sure this problem will only get worse.

Please can someone help keep this green land area clean and safe for children and dog walkers to use.
