WARRINGTON Wolves’ annual end-of-season awards have seen three different players walk away with the main prizes.
Ben Currie was named as this year’s winner of the prestigious Ken Kelly Player of the Year prize, capping off a highly impressive year for the forward following his switch to loose forward from the second row.
The England international was named as the winner as voted for by the club’s performance staff, with George Williams and Matt Dufty in joint second place.
Both players did win prizes of their own on the night, however, with Dufty picking up the Players’ Player of the Year award as voted for by his teammates.
Williams, who won the Vice President’s Player of the Year prize, came second in the player voting, with Matty Ashton third.
Following a sustained first-team breakthrough in 2024, academy graduate second-rower Adam Holroyd has been named as the club’s Young Player of the Year.
