THE past, present and future of Warrington Wolves was on show in the club’s final Academy tour match in Australia.

In the early hours of this morning UK time, the Wire youngsters took on a New South Wales under 17s team in the last of their three matches Down Under before returning to the UK.

The hosts ran out 52-10 winners in a game played over two 35-minute halves, with Frank Sergent and Arron Lindop touching down for the tourists.

Current first-team squad member Matt Dufty was on hand to lend his support to the next generation of Wire players at the game, which was played in the western Sydney suburb of Blacktown.
