IN what is an extremely rare occurrence, three Warrington Wolves players look set to hit the same milestone on Saturday.

George Williams, Oliver Holmes and Jason Clark would all be making their 250th career appearances if they are named in Daryl Powell’s 17 for the trip to Huddersfield Giants.

The vast majority of Williams’ appearances – 179 to be exact – came for Wigan Warriors between 2013 and 2019 and he has played 25 times since joining The Wire from Canberra Raiders.

The half-back made 32 appearances for the NRL side and internationally, he has 11 England caps and a single Great Britain cap. He also made one dual-registration appearance for South Wales Scorpions back in 2013.

Warrington Guardian:

Holmes has made 17 Warrington appearances since joining the club from Castleford Tigers, for whom he played 229 times over 11 years.

The second rower also has one England cap and two England Knights games under his belt.

Warrington Guardian:

Clark’s 78 Wire games have come since joining the club in 2019 from South Sydney Rabbitohs, for whom he played 170 times in the NRL.

He also made one representative appearance for the NSW City side in 2015.

Warrington Guardian:

Another Wire player who goes into the trip to the John Smith’s Stadium is Stefan Ratchford, whose next try will be his 100th in Super League.

He has touched down 76 times for The Wire – two of which have come this year – and 23 times for Salford Red Devils.
