MATT Dufty insists he is ready to make his Warrington Wolves debut against Huddersfield Giants on Saturday.
The Australian full-back arrived in the UK on Monday after his move from Canterbury Bulldogs was brought forward and trained with his new teammates for the first time yesterday.
After another training session this morning, he appears set to start at number one as The Wire head to the John Smith’s Stadium to face the fourth-placed Giants.
With his last game coming a fortnight ago for the Bulldogs’ New South Wales Cup team, he insists he is still match sharp – even if he has had to shake off some inevitable after-effects of a move to the other side of the globe.

“I’ve been struggling with the jet lag for the last couple of days – it’s been a big change,” he said.
“I got out yesterday and had a run around with the boys and had a full training session just then, so I’m really looking forward to playing at the weekend.
“I just missed last week’s game but I feel like physically, I’m ready to go.
“I just want to get out there – we don’t have a lot of games left so I don’t really want to wait a week.”
“It all happened so quick so we’re in a house in Stockton Heath until the end of the year. We can decide what we want to do from there.
“Stockton Heath’s a lovely place and we’re only a couple of minutes’ walk from everything.”
