RILEY Dean put in an impressive display in a dominant victory for loan club Newcastle Thunder yesterday.
The young Warrington Wolves half, who is set to spend the remainder of the campaign in the north east, scored a try and was faultless from the kicking tee in a 66-22 win over Workington Town in the Championship.
Thunder scored 11 tries in all, with Dean converting every single one of them having started the game at stand-off.
Since joining Newcastle on loan last month, Dean has started all four games with yesterday’s win their first in that time.
He has scored two tries and kicked 15 goals during his time at Kingston Park so far and while his loan deal runs until the end of the season, The Wire hold the option to recall the 20-year-old at any time.
